Strategies for Boosting the Immune System to Fight Viral Infections

Speaker: Court Vreeland D.C., D.A.C.B.N.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn why layering lines of defense against viral infections is important for proper immune response to SARS-CoV-2.
  • Discuss nutrients that may help reduce the likelihood of a poor outcome to SARS-CoV-2.
  • Learn why controlling inflammation is the key to preventing serious infection from SARS CoV-2.

*While Court Vreeland is one of the speakers who often provides good information, it must be said there are real covid doctors who have thousands of all stage covid patients under their belt this past year as well as one in particular who also has an entire year’s worth of research publish alongside his medical team’s covid success from April 2020 while functional medicine platforms were still talking about this vitamin or that, he was doing trials and putting forward entire treatment schemes for all stage covid, as well as prophylaxis and long covid, 12-16 months ago, as an infectious disease expert – Dr Gustavo Aguirre Chang, researchgate, it’s time people and practitioners went to source on all these important issues. The timeline shows FMU talking about pretty minor things April 2020, we need to put chiropractors and functional medicine speakers in their perspective, not that medical doctors were doing any better, but there are genuine experts in their fields and these platforms are only set up to recycle the same speakers on every topic, usually not qualified, though as I said Vreeland is one of the better ones, we need to call a spade a spade. I will be bringing you a lot more accessible info on the real covid strategies soon from the horse’s mouth.

COVID Prophylaxis by a doctor who did his first prophylaxis April 2020 and whose team proved themselves over 16 months, and who is trying to get functional medicine and others to go the right direction, as they have not been doing so the entire pandemic.

Long Covid, latest therapeutic strategy by an infectious disease expert who has been publishing on it for over a year, original sources and real experts on covid are necessary to consult directly folks, I cannot pandy to functional medicine cliques on this or as you can see from the gluten fads, on any issue:

**update: one of the alarming things Vreeland says was where he thought the virus didn’t start, but actually a real covid doc handling covid knows well it actually does still start in the throat and you got to stop it progressing, though with variants even before xmas it was also going quickly to intestines. This is the November early covid protocol of Dr Gustavo Aguirre Chang which was effective last week to a girl in the US for whom covid was still in the throat.

Abstract

Published studies have supported our claim from April 2020 that Persistent Symptoms are due to Persistent Infection with the SAS CoV-2 virus. If treatment is given in the first weeks, the eradication of the virus from the body is facilitated, mainly using drugs that have been shown to be effective against viral load. Over time, it is generally necessary to use medications to break down the clots that are formed in a disseminated way, requiring intervention in 3 levels with the use of Antiplatelets, Anticoagulants and Fibrinolytics. Having previously had tests to evaluate coagulation. This document summarizes the management of patients with persistent COVID symptoms, with a General Scheme and the Steps to follow. In separate documents, the reference to step 2, which is the Therapeutic Test, and step 4, which is the 3 x 3 Treatment Scheme, have been developed. The details of the other steps will be published in separate documents. <— Dr Gustavo Aguirre Chang is a Peruvian doctor from the NUMSM, National University of San Marco Lima Peru, while Vreeland I’m sure will do a good job [**update: sadly Vreeland was way off the mark on several fronts and demonstrated no understanding of covid dishing out some pretty dodgy advice, but he’s not alone in functional medicine when it comes to covid] some of the other covid speakers the past year at FMU by comparison were exceptionally weak and did not deliver working strategies or prophylaxis, the majority of functional medicine has not delivered all year and we should be listening to the real experts, there is no time to lose, and there never was and while non-experts are always talking the real experts are not being heard.
